From Raw Structural Tubing to Powder-Coated Machine Platform

Machine builders avoid coordinating multiple vendors by partnering with Fabtron. We saw cut structural tubing, laser cut gusset plates, assemble in precision weld fixtures, robotically weld seams, mill critical linear rail surfaces on our CNC mill, and apply industrial powder coating—all under one roof.

Generator & Pump Sub-Bases

Rigid vibration-damped structural steel skids with integrated lifting lugs, drip containment trays, and fuel cell brackets.

Automation Machine Frameworks

Multi-bay structural enclosures for robotic cells and semiconductor packaging equipment with precision-ground levelling pads.

Defense Vehicle Components

Heavy structural bumper guards, mounting frames, and electronic equipment skids built to defense prime tolerances.

Frequently Asked Engineering Questions

Detailed answers regarding our Plainville facility capabilities, material certifications, testing protocols, and defense contract compliance.

Q: Can you machine mounting pads flat after welding?

Yes. Welding causes localized thermal distortion. We use our in-house Milltronics CNC milling center to face-mill critical motor mounting pads and drill precision dowel pin holes after all welding is completed.
